About the Item
Pair of 1960s Giuseppe Ostuni White and Brass Articulating Sconces for O-Luce
Executed in white painted aluminum shade with brass hardware. Sconces pivot up/down and left/right on Ostuni's patented ball joint system. An incredibly clean and refined design by one of the Italian lighting icons of the modern age. Unmarked.
O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Price is for the pair.
Each sconce accommodates 1x 60w max equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style 3.75-inch diameter brass backplate for mounting over standard US j-box. UL listed.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example of the lamps is featured in the listing images, but both lamps in similarly good condition and present well as a pair.
