- Condition:Rewired: Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom modified backplates for mounting over US junction box. Accommodates a single 100W equivalent LED bulb (or 75W incandescent). Additions or alterations made to the original: Custom patinated copper backplate added for hardwiring and mounting over a standard American j-box. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Richly weatherized patina and wear. Some dings, dents, inner shade paint loss, marks and scratches. Lamps vary in patina and wear, but both are in comparably good condition and readily be displayed as a set.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
