Pair of 1970s Resin Wall Lamps with Botanical and Butterfly Inclusions
Like time capsules of the 1970s, these sculptural resin wall lamps preserve nature itself—delicate grasses, leaves and butterflies—frozen in a glowing block of light. Subtle strands of silver-toned wire were added during casting, creating a shimmering contrast with the organic inclusions. When lit, they radiate a warm, atmospheric glow, turning fragile matter into luminous art.
Each lamp is rectangular in form, with the translucent resin mounted on its original metal wall bracket. The inclusions are unique to each piece, making them truly one-of-a-kind works that bridge the line between design and nature. Both functional and poetic, they are collectible examples of the experimental spirit of 1970s lighting.
