About the Item
The defining feature of this pair of antique Napoleon Empire-style lighting fixtures are the vertical arrows "shot through" the backs of the gilt cast metal sconces. Each piece has a circular wood insert to which are attached four horizontal pegs so that the sconce sits away from the wall, making room for the wiring. Each has a on/off switch. The pair of light shafts for each sconce hold flame bulbs.
