Pair of Art Deco Glass + Brass Sconces, France 1930s
About the Item
A pair of 1930s French sconces featuring tall, curved glass shades with a demilune brass base and hardware. Each shade has an elegant scalloped trim and overlaid gold pattern, which becomes beautifully backlit when these sconces are turned on. Unmarked. Sourced in France, 1930s.
Great vintage condition. These sconces have been professionally rewired for U.S. use with new sockets and clear cords with switches, which can be removed. Fading and minor loss to the overlaid gold patterns on the shades. Patina to the brass hardware. Each sconce accepts one LED candelabra light bulb.
