About the Item

Pair of Empire/ Charles X Gilt and Patinated Bronze Four-Light Wall Appliques or Sconces A pair of Empire/ Charles X four-branch ormolu/gilt and patinated bronze wall lights “à la corne d'abondance” of excellent quality. Each finely cast with a cornocopia emanating from a circular acanthus cast backplate and issuing four candle arms. The candle arms scrolled, with foliate decoration, nozzles with drip pan. Beautiful gilding with matte and polished parts, excellent chiseling. The pair of Empire/Charles X wall appliques or sconces are for candle use.
