Pair of French Late 19th Century Empire Style Sconces
About the Item
A fine pair of gilded bronze sconces each having four arms which are decorated with palmettes. The arms are attached to a decorated central 'well' similar to a lidded reservoir which attaches to a decorated back plate. Originally for candles they are now wired for electricity.
