About the Item
Here is a lovely pair of gilt tole sconces with clear and emerald green crystal drops attributed to Maison Bagués. Each sconce has three lights--the candle sleeves have been recently replaced.
The sconces are in very good condition--there are no crystal drops missing and there appear to be no chips or cracks. The gilt finish on the metal is also in very good condition. The sconces will need to be hardwired--for photography, we did electrify the pair and they are in working order.
We estimate these sconces are from the 1960s, but they are a bit hard to date. Similar examples ranges from the 1930s to the 1970s. Whatever their age, they are a dramatic pair that are sure to add drama and mood to any room.
