Pair of Italian 18th Century Venetian St. Mecca and Wrought Iron Sconces
About the Item
A stunning pair of Italian 18th century Venetian st. Mecca and wrought iron mirrored sconces. Each beautifully shaped sconce retains its original mirror plate set within most decorative scrolled carved foliate designs and richly carved leaves accented with lovely rosettes at each side. Two elegantly scrolled wrought iron arms branch out from superb carved Mecca lattice designs leading to exquisitely turned candle cups with pressed metal bobeches. The pierced top crowns display central acanthus leaf sprays above geometric Greek key designs. All original Mecca throughout.
