About the Item
This stunning pair of glass sconces were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a curved demilune body with a braided design consisting of a wealth of diamond forms in handblown opalescent Murano glass with inflections of robin's egg blue and yellow gold. With its austere form and beautiful handblown glass, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They accommodate two candelabra based bulbs, offering up to 120 watts of light each. Excellent condition.
