Pair of Two Candle Federalist Style Wall Sconces

About the Item

Pair of Two Candle Federalist Style Wall Sconces Anonymous USA; Probably early-to-mid 20th century Wood, iron Approximate size: 30.25 (h) x 12.5 (w) x 7 (d) in. ea. A pair of wooden Federalist style double-armed wall sconces. Each sconce is painted black with gilded highlights. Each sconce is surmounted by eagles perched upon a circular beaded border plinth. The lower portion of each sconce terminates with two iron arms with scrolling motifs and giltwood rose medallions. Condition commensurate with age. Minor nicks and losses to some of the paint but otherwise preserved in a very good state.
