Pair of Wrought Iron Wall Sconces From a Miami Resort, Brutalist Deco MIMO
This monumental, one-of-a-kind pair of sculptural brutalist/Art Deco/MiMo four-bulb lights/lamps/sconces were salvaged from the demolition of the historic Deauville Hotel, Miami Beach, FL. Originally built in 1957, The Deauvillle was designed by Melvin Grossman, and is most famous for the Beatles 1964 first live perfomance on the Ed Sullivan Show. This pair of hammered, patinated wrought iron lights - designed to mimic the hotel's facade and entry roofs of futuristic, intersecting parabolic curves - are blacksmith studio handcrafted, numbered and have been carefully newly re wired and circuit tested. They show a lovely bronze patina and are ready for mounting into your project. Mounting hardware is not included. No defects to note.
