About the Item
Scandinavian Modern stoneware wall sconce designed by Noomi Backhausen and manufactured in the 1960s at Søholm, Denmark. The sconces consists of a large dish with a central circular disk. They are made of stoneware with a lovely structured surface. The core of the disk is glazed in light blue, beige, green and brown colors the remaining part of the disk is left unglazed. The large dish is decorated the same way, the outside is left unglazed and the center is glazed in shades of brown. The light comes from the center part and provides a gentle and cozy light.
