Set of 3 Rare and Large Art Deco Wall Sconces by Jean Perzel, Paris, circa 1930s
About the Item
This set of three Art Deco-inspired sconces pays homage to the iconic lighting designs of the Atelier Jean Perzel, blending timeless elegance with modern craftsmanship. Featuring a refined combination of brass lucite, and acrylic, the design captures the clean lines and geometric balance characteristic of Perzel’s work. The warm brass frame supports a sleek acrylic shade, diffusing halogen light with a soft, ambient glow—ideal for hallways, bedrooms, or sophisticated interiors. The interplay of metallic sheen and glossy acrylic echoes the early 20th-century fascination with luxurious yet functional materials.
Each sconce is wired for the U.S. and equipped with a working 300W R7 Base Halogen bulb. The pieces weigh 7.6 lbs each, with a total packaged weight of 22.8 lbs each. While offered as a set of three, they can also be sold individually. These sconces are in excellent condition, with minor patina that enhances their vintage appeal, making them a striking statement piece for collectors and designers seeking high-quality, period-inspired lighting.

Vesta Postmodern Glass Sconce Pair for VeArt by Ernesto Gismondi C 1990
By VeArt, Artemide, Ernesto Gismondi
Located in Brooklyn, NY
A rare pair of postmodern Italian wall sconces, the Vesta model was designed by Ernesto Gismondi for VeArt around 1990, capturing the bold experimentation of late 20th-century Italian lighting design. These striking fixtures combine mixed materials, featuring a clear and frosted Murano glass shade, elegantly held by a sculptural steel and brass bracket. The contrast between the delicate hand-blown glass and the industrial strength of metal creates a dynamic interplay of light and form.
Designed for both aesthetic appeal and functionality, the sconces are wall-mounted with an integrated E27 socket, ensuring compatibility with European and US wiring standards. VeArt, founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana, was a key innovator in Venetian glass lighting...
