About the Item

A handsome and large scale set of four Italian 18th century Louis XVI period giltwood electrified Bras de Lumière sconces. Each unique sconce is centered by an elegant and most decorative red velvet back plate finished with French nail heads and a foliate giltwood design. The opulent scrolled arm is decorated with rosettes and large acanthus leaves ending with a fluted candle cup and foliate saucer. Finely carved with all original gilt throughout. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
