About the Item
An impressive set of three French 19th century Regence st. Ormolu sconces after a model by Charles Andrew Boulle. The sconces have an impressive circular backplate with five large scrolled shaped acanthus leaves. At the center of the leaves are two protruding scrolled electrified arms decorated at the top and at the mid section with additional acanthus leaves. The arms lead to a concave reeded designed candle cups with a laurel decorated edge. A very unique set of three.
