Large stylish Danish midcentury wall sconce.
The lamp is made the acknowledged pottery Søholm on Bornholm and the design is attributed to Noomi Backhausen & Poul Brandborg. Made ca. 1960s or 1970s
The lamp consists of overlapping circular disks made of stoneware with a lovely structured surface. The light comes from the center part and provides a gentle and cozy light.
It can be mounted both in horizontal and vertical position.
The lamp can be installed directly on the wall or connected with the wire and plug which is included. The plug is European type. If you do not use European plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
The lamp is fully marked marked with Søholm Stentøj (stoneware) backstamps and original paper sticker.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition with full function. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Irregularities in clay from production. There is a burning crack visible on the back of one disk. It doesn’t affect the stability.
