About the Item
Silf is part of Diaphan Studio’s continuing exploration into the interplay between reflective metals and translucent minerals. A precisely crafted brass profile houses our cutting-edge LED source, while a carefully selected specimen of Iceland Spar (Optic Calcite) crowns the composition. The raw stone’s intrinsic optical properties refract and diffuse the emitted light, casting soft yet striking patterns onto the surrounding space. By highlighting nature’s subtle wonders, Silf gently transforms spaces with a warm, radiant glow that merges refined metalwork with the raw beauty of stone.
This lamp is available as a hardwired version. Please note that all our lights are handmade by our highly crafted artisans and slight variations in colour of metalwork may occur.

Diaphan Studio
Established in 2019, Diaphan Studio is an atelier founded by Alessandro Giacomelli and Dominique Wolniewicz, respectively a gemologist and a lighting designer. Their approach blends a deep exploration of light’s optical properties with a contemporary interpretation of crystalline structures, often imperceptible to the human eye.
Each creation is a sculpture made of light, casting delicate projections into its surroundings. More than objects, these luminous works transform spaces, allowing light to unfold in a mesmerizing symphony of color and form.
