About the Item

Spanish galleon or sailing ship wall sconce, gilt iron. Spain, 1950s In the style of Gilbert Poillerat. This spanish galleon wall light was handcrafted in Spain at the mid-20th century period representing the Santa Maria, the flagship of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first trip across the Atlantic Ocean. Its gold leaf finishing makes this piece a gorgeous bright accent in any place. Housing four lights with E14 bulbs. It has been newly wired and it is ready to hang. Spectacular when lit.
