Rare & desirable vintage bronze deco sconces with honey colored slip shades .
One of the most sought after (and rare) pairs of vintage Art Deco wall sconce fixtures with original patina and shades. These American made antique fixtures have a level of detailing and design rarely seen on this side of the Atlantic. The delicate bronze filigree on the sides show a rare and skillful master's touch in design, proportion, and execution. This filigree is tucked along the sides so a visual delight awaits, once you are slightly off center. The backbone tapers up into a stylized skyscraper off in the distance while the very bottom takes flight with a pair of wings. The side panels are saturated with deco influenced motifs from industrial to nature to music with the original orange colored flower the only color other than the patinated bronze. The original patina is the rich dark brown associated with top quality antique bronze. The original scalloped root beer colored crackle glass slip shades are in almost mint condition with no visible chips or cracks.
Nicely sized at 15 1/8 inches high to be an attractive yet not overpowering focal point of a wall or room.
