Unique Murano Art Glass Sconces in Cristallo 24ct Gold Leaf & Amber Candy Canes
About the Item
This is a totally unique pair of one off wall sconces made in Venice by the renowned Master Murano glass blowers Vetreria Artistica Rosa, by Master Carlo Rosa
The wall sconces are super heavy weight Murano Art Glass consisting of Clear Cristallo glass vases with 24 Ct Gold leaf and Amber candy canes running diagonally through the fluted, thick ribbed, scallop top vase. And if that wasn't complicated enough it has this thick Clear Cristallo decoration in a pulled scalloped edge pattern running down each side.
You could not get more master glass blowing techniques into one piece of glass if you tried
These unique super heavy glass vases are then mounted on a hand cast Bronze and brass backplate arm and cup. the supporting cup is hand chiselled in a coin pattern around the edge and finished in Antique Brass effect
