About the Item
Iconic vintage Le Klint scissor lamp up light in teak from the late 1950s early 1960s.
A very early model with brass fittings and screws.
In the 1960s these were changed to plastic.
The teak has been lightly sanded and waxed without removing the beautiful dark patina to the teak wood.
In great vintage condition with new black cloth twisted flex wiring and ready to plug in and fitted with a UK US or EU plug.
Still fitted with the original Bakelite bulb holder with on/off switch and adjustable lampshade holder.
Scandinavian design and quality at its best.
Fitted with a lampshade made from beautiful vintage material designed by the Finnish designer Maija Isola in 1973.
Maija Isola had huge success with her designs in the 1960s and 70s.
