Vintage Maison Baguès Style Silvered Iron & Crystal Wall Sconce of Floral Design
About the Item
Vintage 20th c., France, attributed to Maison Baguès, a large yet delicate wall sconce. A cut crystal backplate modeled as a vase issuing a tall flower stalk with multiple leaves and cut crystal flower heads, supporting two scroll arms topped with electrified candlesticks.
First created in the 1920s, this style of fixture embodies the Baguès spirit, chic and delicate. The Bohemian crystals of leaves, two tone flowers and vase are all around the iron structure silvered with leaf.

Condition:
Good, nice weathered patina, wiring appears updated but untested. Crystal is crisp and clean.
