Vintage Swiss Space Age Visier Sconce by E. R. Nele for Temde, 1970s
About the Item
Wall lamp from the swiss manufacturer temde after a design by e. R. Nele from the 70s.
The design follows a technical language of forms. The most striking detail of this lamp is found in the design of the lamp head. Curved metal strips enclose the light source and can be moved along a common axis.
this fan-like opening of the slats allows control of the light output. In addition, this actually functional detail shows an ornamental character and leaves a lasting mark on the luminaire with its changing appearance. The head of the luminaire thus appears in almost organic shapes. The head sits at the end of a swiveling bracket. As a wall mount serves a simple box, which takes the red of the lamp head. The lamp has a pull switch.
