Wall light or sconce, perspex and glass, Europe, 1970s.
Beautifully shimmering sconce made in the 1970s. This light reveals a glamorous appearance. A beautiful feature that adds to that alluring look are the glass gems on the shade of this piece. The transparent shade makes sure the light gets captured by the glass jewels to create an absolute stunning light partition and reflection on the wall and surroundings. This type of wall light was used a lot to illuminate cruise ships and high class trains in the 1960s and 1970s in Europe.
