About the Item
These were the best desk lamps ever made. They very high end and the inside had four rows of angled fluted reflectors to spread the light evenly. The I. P. Frink Company was very scientific in their approach and had patents on all their reflector lighting. These bank lamps are all bronze sitting on a wood base... heavy and very stately. These were the lamps found at the check and slip writing counters. This was top of the line with its unique stained glass doors at the base. The Frink catalog called this lamp the, Frink desk reflector and the catalog description reads. A lighting system for a bank must work itself into the detail of the equipment and not distract from the dignity and simplicity and be rich but not gaudy. There is a hint of Arts and Crafts in the design. It takes 3 bulbs.
