About the Item
This 1930s Art Deco night light captures the elegance and warmth of the era with its stunning craftsmanship.
It features a beautifully designed base made from two types of richly veined marble, creating a harmonious contrast in colour. The centerpiece of this lamp is a mesmerizing opaline glass sphere, delicately clouded with natural, flowing veins that mirror the intricate patterns in the marble below. This glass orb is seated on a three-tiered marble pedestal, exuding sophistication and heightening the lamp’s visual appeal.
Opposite the sphere, a sculpted antelope cast from spelter stands gracefully, remarkably well-preserved to showcase its detailed form. Popular in the 1930s, lamps like this were designed not only to provide a gentle night light but also to create a warm, ambient glow, adding a layer of timeless beauty to any space.
