1940s large rattan table lamp
About the Item
Quite a large table lamp and imaged with other objects for scale. 34.5" tall. 10.5" wide and about 11" deep. This table lamp is made from rattan and assumed made in the United States. Maker is unknown. Use of rows of rattan is often seen on Paul Frankl Furniture and used be hard pressed to find a more suitable accompanying lamp. Brass rod penetrates and gives rise to a socket which is new with simple on and off switch. The nailed rattan stripes add a lovely handmade and artisan feel to the lamp which has a very pleasing abstract nature to it. Harp can be shaped to suit lamp shade size. Light Switch is located at the 25" mark.
