1950s Brass & Perspex Tripod Table Lamp by Stilux Milano.
This elegantly sculptural table lamp is characteristic of the highly refined Italian lighting design aesthetics of the midcentury era as embodied by the legendary firm of Stilnovo. Executed in opaline perspex and pale yellow diffuser with patinated brass stem. Unmarked.
Stilux Milano was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their incomparable designs have long been sought after by collectors of fine lighting.
Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style US wall plug and 7' black cloth double-twist cord. Switch on the cable. Accommodates 1x 60w max equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.

'Kushi XL' opaline glass and brass table lamp for KDLN.
Executed in mouth-blown double layer opaline glass with a metallic body available in three coating finishes: black, copper and brass. This minimalist yet graceful design features a delicate opaline glass shade perched atop a slender stem. Its simplest and purest of shapes create an imposing lamp with a sophisticated and discrete presence.
Designed by Alberto Saggia & Valerio Sommella, both of which graduated from the Politecnico of Milan in 2004; the first with a specialization in lighting design and more than 10 years of collaboration with the Metis studio, the latter with an experience strongly linked to product design started in major design studios between Milan and Amsterdam. Since 2009, they collaborate specifically in the design of objects related to the lighting world, uniquely combining a technical vision with an aesthetic approach.
