1950's Twisted Glass Table Lamp by Sevres France
About the Item
This elegant Hollywood Regency sculptural crystal table lamp was realized by the fabled French maker Sevres, circa 1950s. It features a sculptural translucent glass body full of sinuous curves. With its clean modernist lines and timeless form, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It is signed "Sevres" on the bottom. The lamp is being sold without a shade. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
The dimensions on the listing show the measurements of the crystal base. It is 15.5" to the top of the socket (a harp can be used with this socket). Obviously finished height would depend on the size harp and shade that you decided to use with the lamp. Lamp is being sold without a shade. There is a channel on the underside of the lamp for the cord (see images) and a switch on the cord. Lamp has been tested and is working.
This is a stunning piece. You'll see other, smaller sized Sevres crystal lamps online marked at over $3,900.
