About the Item
A minimalist design classic from the 1960s and 70s: Table lamp/piano lamp by Leclaire & Schäfer, Neheim, West Germany, Type 5923/1
The cuboid lamp head is made of green lacquered sheet metal with perforations on the top and a frosted glass panel on the bottom. This ensures glare-free light. This diffuser is unfortunately missing. The lamp head is connected to the nickel-plated arm via a ball joint. The arm is flexibly attached to the shaft and the heavy base with a disc joint. This joint is no longer original but has been replaced with a high-quality, dark gray joint. This allows it to be positioned in a wide variety of positions.
The small lamp has an E14 brass socket and is switched on and off via a cord switch on the cable.
The lamp is very solidly constructed and is in good, functional condition with clear signs of aging*.
