1970 Italian Vintage Pyramide High Society Table Lamp Tonello & Montagna Grillo
About the Item
Stunning, sculptural and highly decorative table light by Tonello & Montagna Grillo for High Society from the 1970s.
Very elegant Italian design in original vintage condition - Made in Italy.
The unusual feature of this lamp is the twisted base made of chrome-plated metal. The metal shows signs of oxidation due to its age. You could polish the lamp up, then it would be completely made of brass and the little dots would disappear... but I will leave that to the taste of the new owner.
Overall, the table lamp has a very nice patina typical of its age and is undamaged. The shade is also still the original paper shade - without cracks, but there are a few dots here and there. This could also be replaced or re-covered.
The lamp impresses with its timeless elegance and can also be perfectly combined with different interior styles.
Lovely vintage & 100% original condition with signs of wear typical of its age. 2 x E27 socket.
