About the Item
Unique and one of a kind, handcrafted in the 1980s, this brass sculptural plant form Aloe, Agave or Lotus Torchiere table lamp, made by the hands of a skilled artisan metalsmith in the modernist style of Maison Charles, Maison Jansen or Fledman Lighting Company. This Hollywood Regency lamp features an array of handwrought repoussé brass leaves, silver soldered together with an orb center on a leaf base. Recently polished in a satin brass finish, with the center ball being oxidized, clear lacquer over entire exterior , with new white paint interior. New cord and socket. Unsigned. In the style of Atelier Michel Armand.
