An amazing table lamp designed and manufactured by George Kovacs, high quality components, it has been checked by an electrician, the solid enameled brass and the beige painted metal parts are in very good conditions. George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting. The Table Lamp, designed by George Kovacs is a captivating lighting fixture that exemplifies the modernist design principles of the era. The collaboration between George Kovacs and J.T. Kalmar Lamps resulted in a lamp that showcases a harmonious blend of materials and sleek lines.
