About the Item
19th Century Chinese Ceramic Lotus grain vessel converted to lamp. This dramatic lamp is oversized in scale (40" includes the flax linen shade). The base has been handcrafted with textured applied lotus flowers, stems, and decorative markings. It has a taupe finish with green undertones that turn reddish brown at the bottom. There is one socket / bulb. To avoid damaging the vessel, the cord is attached to the socket part of the lamp. (see photos)
