19th C. Pair of Heavy Brass Ecclesiastical Candlesticks Adapted to Table Lamps
About the Item
19th c. Dutch large ecclesiastical brass candlesticks converted to table lamps. They are heavy and substantial, each with a single sconce on a turned column culminating on a triform base. The drip pans have an unusual basket form. These lamps could easily be converted back to candlesticks should candlelight be preferred over electrical light.
Dimensions:
Approx. 34.5"h x 8"w x 8"d
Condition:
Good/Fair, some pitting and finish wear to metal consistent with age and use. The lamps have not been tested. They are very heavy.
