A very good quality French 19th century boulle inlaid centre table, having gilded ormolu mounts, a single frieze drawer and raised on a four splay out swept base.

The table was made in France in the second half of the 19th century in the Louis XVI style. The wooden structure is entirely veneered and the top, as well as the band under the central and lateral top, lacquered with chinoiserie designs. On the floor is depicted, in black background, a lake landscape, with houses, mountains and lush plants. The underlay bands, always with a black background, have decorations with polychrome foliated and floral motifs. On the front it is equipped with a drawer with rings for the golden bronze opening.
