About the Item
A very rare set of six 19th Century Gothic finely cast polished brass candlesticks, fully restored and converted to table lamps with beautiful patination and of exceptional quality. Surmounted with a gorgeous Neoclassical urn of circular form with everted rim and gadroon detail throughout, above an elegant reverse tapering turned and fluted columnar baluster support with decorative beaded row and gadroon detail. Raised over panelled trefoil triangular base with cartouches depicting fabulous foliate arrangements and figural portraits above outsplaying leg with richly trailing scrolls and ribbon twist motif detail, terminating on pad foot.
