Vintage Italian table lamp, an original Italian design lamp created by Giovanni Banci (Florence, 1942-1999) in the 1980s. Designed by Banci for his workshop Banci Firenze. This work has been created and designed by Giovanni Banci (Florence, 1942-1999) in the 1980s for Banci, Florence. Banci has been an Italian contemporary artist and furniture designer.
His work has been exhibited internationally, with many of his designs offered at auction multiple times.
This Vintage Table Lamp by Giovanni Banci 1980s, realized with nine chromed steel spheres arranged on uprights, connected with a round glass dish and a circular black faux leather basement.
You switch on manually the E27 light by pulling a string ending with the smallest ball in the upper part, near the glass disk. Italian standard working wiring.
The used black lampshade has a squared shape. This vintage Italian Florentine lamp coms from a private Milanese home and is in good used condition, with signs of wear and use.
Listed sizes refers to lamp including shade- lamp base only measures 53 cm heigh by 12 cm.
This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, It requires a governative license for export called Belle Arti. The shipping may require additional 1-2 handling weeks to require and get the license according to the final destination of the artwork.

The Scavo finished glass, hand blown in a beautiful aquamarine green tone and black details, offers an elegant Amphora shape and shows an extraordinary craftsmanship with the use of the so-called Scavo or corroso technique. Scavo literally means excavation glass, for the particular finish alike to the antique Roman glass brought to light from excavation.
