20th Century Italian Empire Bronze Table Lamp Red Lampshade Golden Embroideries

About the Item

An Empire style large bronze urn vase wired as table lamp with an oval red lampshade. An Italian circular handled decorative bronze center vase, the so-called Italian portapalme, set on square base, realized in cast bronze, this exquisite mid-20th century vase has been converted into beautiful table lamp. Of Italian origin, in good age related condition, this tall table lamp comes from a private house of Milan, with handmade oval shape red silk lamp-shade, decorated on the front with antique hand-made gold lame embroideries applied. These ancient embroideries comes from Italian liturgical garments of the 1700s. Wired for Italian standards, suitable for one E27 light bulb, up to 100 watt. Two separate packages are required for shipping. The single base only measures cm. 46.5 in height, cm. 29.5 wide and cm. 18.5 deep.
