20th CENTURY LIBERTY LAMP AUGUSTE MOREAU "LA MELODIE"

About the Item

This Liberty lamp in bronze alloy represents a true work of decorative art. The female figure statuette is striking for its grace and delicacy. The woman holds a harp, symbol of harmony and purity, and a palm, which represents victory and nobility of the spirit. Her peplum, elegantly moved, recalls the classic style, giving the lamp a touch of refinement and antique style. The figure is also surrounded by floral details. The rose-shaped bulbs complete the look of the lamp, harmoniously combining the shape of nature with the elegance of art. When the lamp is turned on, the roses light up delicately, creating a romantic and evocative atmosphere. Finally, the statuette rests on a painted wooden base. The lamp therefore represents a valuable piece, enchanting to admire and appreciate for its unique design, signed by the French artist Auguste Moreau, famous sculptures active between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
