20th century, Pair of French Gilt Bronze Candlesticks

About the Item

20th century, Pair of French Gilt Bronze Candlesticks The pair of candlesticks, made in the twentieth century, is in gilded bronze. The structure of each candlestick consists of plant and fruit elements: it rests on three bunches of grapes on which to insert different fruits and vine shoots. The candle holder is completely wrapped in vine leaves. The whole is very decorative and particularly lively, pleasant if observed on all its sides. The candlesticks in fact can be placed on small tables from the center, or on consoles, drawers and desks also placed before a mirror that will reflect their whole. Very bright thanks to the golden finish, they are pleasant both with antique furniture and in modern contexts.
