ABO STAT yellow desk light produced by ABO Randers in the 1960s - super attractive sunny yellow table lamp in very good vintage condition. The BALL is originally designed by Hans Jørgen Berthel (the owner of ABO Randers) in the early 1960s, but later reproduced by several Danish and Italian producers with subtle changes to the design, among them Frandsen Lighting and E.S.Horn. As wall lights, the BALL was available in a variety of different colors and hung in many homes in Denmark throughout the 1960, 1970s and 1980s. ABO Randers sold over 2 million BALL wall lamps in Denmark alone (with a population of 5 million at that time) - that is true democratic design! In this version, the BALL is placed on a metal stand to support the BALL. The BALL shade centered on the top part of the stand, held into place by two black plastic 'balls' - allowing up and down movement to change the direction of the light to suit your specific needs. The non-intrusive yet intriguingly simple design makes this light great for a working space where you need to adjust the direction of the light, or perhaps on a shelf in the living room. Sure, to make you smile too! All original, and no parts missing, but rewired with 1,5 m (4' 11.1") white plastic cord, fitted with on/off switch placed at convenient height at the cord and Euro-style two-pin plug - which can be fitted with a plug adapter, or is easily changed to your specific plug. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective plastic cover. Light source: One bulb, Edison screw-fitting (E14/E12 with adapter) Max 40 Watt (For this specific light I recommend using a golf-ball sized bulb).
