Designed by Dai Sugasawa, Abyss is a bold fish-shaped table lamp in recyclable polyethylene. Inspired by the anglerfish swimming in the deep seas with its luminous built-in rod, Abyss will dock directly to your house bringing light on your dining or bedside table. Available in different colors.
Lamp in rotomolded recyclable polyethylene with PMMA shader and galvanized steel ballast. On/off switch positioned on cable. LED source replaceable by user with 12V G4 bulb. Wall mount transformer with interchangeable plugs.
No toxins or chemicals are released into the air during the manufacturing process and, unlike other processes, rotational moulding wastes very few materials therefore helping to reduce the carbon footprint. The base-polymers that we use are transformed in Italian Factories, using renewable energies in production processes and with Environmental Systems certified according with ISO14001:2015, therefore favoring a general reduction in both production and longer range transportation co2 emissions.
Product complies with the essential requirements of European Community Directives.
Protected against the entrance of solid objects larger than Ø12 mm according to the international standard IEC 60529 (protection provided by mechanical and electrical enclosures against the intrusion of solid particles (such as body parts and dust) and the entrance of liquids.
Product to be disposed of with electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) according to the regulations of your municipality.
Product equipped with SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) battery or transformer. Insulation class II.
Product suitable for installation on flammable surfaces.
This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class C. User-replaceable light source with G4 12V bulb or original LED board from the manufacturer. The power supply may only be replaced by the manufacturer with an equivalent model.
Daï Sugasawa loves to visit regularly the Natural History Museum. He had always been fascinated by the huge size of dinosaur bones. His dream was to own one at home, in his own garden. This dream becomes reality! Both children and adults can enjoy sitting where they want on a big and funny 2 meter long bone.
