Alabaster Baluster Form 19th Century Table Lamp, Hand Carved

About the Item

This alabaster lamp is stunning, with its irregular veining and exquisite carving. It is antique Regency style hand carved alabaster from the late 19th Century. The baluster form is surmounted by a carved drum-form cuff over an urn-form body. The lamp rests on a raised domed foot on square plinth base. The three light socket works perfectly. The lamp is 30 inches tall, and the base is 5 inches wide by by 5 inches. This is a beautiful lamp is very good condition. It does show signs of age with a little pitting and discoloration at the base as seen in the pictures. However, this is a 19th century piece, and it presents very well. The lamp shade is for display only.
