American 19th Century Stag Sculpture Converted into Table Lamp

About the Item

This table lamp features a 19th-century American cast metal sculpture of a stag that has been thoughtfully repurposed as a lighting piece. The proud stag is depicted standing alert at the base of a textured tree trunk, which now supports the lamp’s upright fitting. The composition captures movement and detail, from the antlers' complex form to the textured fur and stylized woodland base. The metal has been painted in naturalistic tones, with green accents evoking moss-covered bark. The lamp has been rewired for contemporary use in the United States and fitted with a modern socket and cord, preserving the sculptural integrity of the original piece.
