About the Item
Interesting Steampunk style table lamp, featuring a 19th C carriage lamp, later mounted as a table lamp. The carriage lamp bas a circular front lens, which is hinged and opens, and a bevelled glass side window, to allow maximum illumination. The carriage lantern has been later wired for an electric bulb. The lamp also has a socket at the top, to provide additional light.
While this example predates the Steampunk school of design, aesthetically it falls within the definition.
This example is in good, working, ready to use condition, showing only light cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age, shade not included.
