Antique English Sterling Silver Marble Corinthian Column Table Lamp
About the Item
Absolutely Stunning Chisel Cast Single Sterling Silver Electric Table Lamp of nice tall proportions. Circa 1900.
Mark of G H for an English Silversmith (cannot find) also STERLING, no date letter.
With a square deep well veined black and grey statuary marble base, the tall slender circular fluted column stem below a traditional Corinthian column.
Height: (entire as shown including electrical bulb area an impressive) 18.5” (46.5cm). Width: (at base) 5.5” (14cm). Depth: (at base) 5.5” (14cm).
Condition: Good condition with clear crisp hallmarks. Fully loaded inside. Marble base is perfect with no losses. Baise underneath has been replaced, nicely done. Professionally re-wired for electricity.

Stylish English Sterling Silver Card Tray or Waiter of shaped oval outline and good size and weight, with a very decorative pleated gallery edge detail.
The entire embossed with flowers leaves and scrolls, with elements of Art Nouveau decoration. The central reserve is decorated with frolicking Cherubs in landscape.
Mark of G M R H for W J Myatt & Co. Caroline Street, Birmingham, England.
Assayed in Chester England 1902.
Condition: Superb, good firm condition with no dents or losses, nice clear hallmarks.

The Fish Slice blade of incurved form exquisitely chased depicting scrolls and flowers, the Fork with similar decoration.
Maker's mark: GH for Harrison Brothers & George Howson. Nortfork Street, Sheffield, England.
