About the Item

Adorable Art Deco bedside lamp presumably produced by Fog & Mørup in Denmark. Base and lampshade in green painted metal. The shadow can be tilted on either side of the center. Recharged but retained the original sockets of the Bakelite lamp holder as they are a crucial part of the design. Very fragile and must be adjusted and tightened in place.

Incredible midcentury aluminium and metal table lamp. This item was designed in the style of Oscar Torlasco in Italy during 1960s. This piece has the peculiarity of having the adjustable spotlight in aluminium the will allow directing the light. This lamp is a small masterpiece that will fit into a midcentury style studio. Born in Rome, Italy in 1934, Oscar Torlasco designed many beautiful lamps. The most well known are the lamps he designed for Lumi. Torlasco designed for several Italian lighting manufacturers including Esperia, Stilux, Lamperti and Stilkronen. Most of his designs are from the 1950s and 1960s. For many lamps, he uses optic lenses for spreading/diffusing the light. It is his trademark.
