About the Item
This delightful Art Deco Frosted Glass Table Lamp W/ Hand-Painted Floral Motif originates from the United States, Circa 1930. Features an upward pointing conical shade with a rounded body to the lamp, all in frosted glass with relief detailing. Within the relief detailing hand-painted elements are added with vibrant greens, pinks, reds, and blues. Blooming flowers, bending leaves, and charmingly colored insects adorn the surface, creating a whimsical and otherworldly theme throughout the lamp. Versatile in scale and an excellent example of the minimal geometry and thorough adornment of Art Deco design, this piece will style in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this piece accommodates one Edison based bulb achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent vintage Condition.
